A film and an installation in one: a mirrored box that traps its occupants in an infinite hall of their own reflections. Overstimulating, claustrophobic, seductive - the space forces performers to confront themselves as both voyeur and exhibitionist, observer and observed.

Inside the box, there is no escape from the gaze, both your own, and that of an invisible audience peering through two-way mirrors. Sex here becomes both display and distortion: bodies multiply to infinity, pleasure reverberates off the glass, the self is mirrored, refracted and endlessly scrutinised.

As camgirls evolved into streamers, and selfie rolls filled with near-identical poses, so too did the technology of desire evolve and reshape not only how we fuck but how we watch ourselves fucking. Four Chambers’ Echo Chamber asks: What happens when the tools of self-exposure turn back on us? What is left when the image overtakes the flesh?

A self-made spectacle. A museum vitrine. A Francis Bacon space-frame rendered in reflective panels, pinning performers like insects under glass.

Shot with and starring Vex Ashley, Kali Sudhra, Bishop Black, and Master Aaron. Echo Chamber is both confession and critique: an autoerotic maze for the digital age. Scenes include an orgy of bodies writhing by fire, stolen sex acts in the barn, unsure of where one starts and begins, haunting and unease.
\n <figure\n class=\"release-content-image release-content-image--contained release-content-image--align-center\"\n data-component=\"image-zoom-popup\"\n data-image-zoom-popup-selector=\".release-content-image__image\"\n data-image-zoom-popup-i18n=\"data:application/json;base64,eyJEb3dubG9hZCI6IkRvd25sb2FkIn0=\"\n data-image-zoom-popup-tracking-views-event=\"Story Image View\"\n data-image-zoom-popup-tracking-download-event=\"Story Image Download\"\n data-image-zoom-popup-placement=\"content\"\n >\n
\n <img\n src=\"https://cdn.uc.assets.prezly.com/65a1f26b-be77-4a90-aeda-2289d9761cc0/-/resize/1200x/-/format/auto/\"\n srcset=\"https://cdn.uc.assets.prezly.com/65a1f26b-be77-4a90-aeda-2289d9761cc0/-/resize/1200x/-/format/auto/ 1x, https://cdn.uc.assets.prezly.com/65a1f26b-be77-4a90-aeda-2289d9761cc0/-/resize/2400x/-/format/auto/ 2x\"\n class=\"release-content-image__image image-thumbnail-rollover__image\"\n data-description=\"\"\n id=\"image-65a1f26b-be77-4a90-aeda-2289d9761cc0\"\n data-id=\"65a1f26b-be77-4a90-aeda-2289d9761cc0\"\n data-original=\"https://cdn.uc.assets.prezly.com/65a1f26b-be77-4a90-aeda-2289d9761cc0/-/inline/no/ec4c87a1-01b7-4956-a0a2-36af23d2fafa.JPG\"\n data-mfp-src=\"https://cdn.uc.assets.prezly.com/65a1f26b-be77-4a90-aeda-2289d9761cc0/-/resize/1200x/-/format/auto/\"\n alt=\"Story image\"\n />\n
\n \n <use xlink:href=\"#icon-expand\"></use>\n
\n
\n\n

\n
\n
“Being a woman often feels like straining at the seams that hold your sanity together, something howling inside you that you can’t name or even look at directly. Known for pushing boundaries and exploring the intricate relationship between sex and the human condition, Four Chambers creates films that transcend the pornographic genre.

Headed by performer, Vex Ashley and self taught in film making with an emphasis on collaborative DIY practices; Four Chambers now exists alongside a new wave of creators making contemporary pornographic work from a new perspective.

The project remains deliberately ambiguous, rejecting labels for both their films and performers, existing in-between genres of both art and pornography and dismissing the need for a definition of either. Exploring themes of technology, symbolism, mythology and alchemy and their intrinsic intersection with sex and part of the growing decentralisation from traditional adult industry business, Four Chambers is independent, DIY, conceptual, pornography cinema.

Watch the film and read more: afourchamberedheart.com

",
